NFL  > New England Patriots  > Predictions anyone?

Putting aside my Jets hatred I still do like this match-up for the Pats.
Offensively I very much like the spread the ball around approach. It felt like the Pats were force feeding Moss early which really cost them against the Jets the first time around. None of that here which takes away the Revis factor. As a defense I really expect the Jets to just nail the Pats recievers every chance they get. If that causes a turnover is where this game is going to be decided. If the Pats hold on to the ball I don't believe the Jets can stay with them.
Defense it depends heavily on what the offense does. If the Pats get a few quick scores than I have no worries about Mr. Sanchez leading the charge back. I think his shoulder is sore to start with and he may make some plays but I don't think he'll beat the Pats.
The running game is a different story. DL depth is shallow and if the game is close late with the Jets running game going I don't think the DL will hold up. God forbid if Wilfork ever got hurt or it could be the Pats who get routed.
I think the Pats receivers do hold on to the ball and Wilfork stays healthy which means the Pats win 31-20 (Don't you dare pull a Seattle Jets!)

they'll be snowballs bouncing off rex's head if the pats-fans see that score !...........We still remember what the ravenz did to us last year in [playoffs] .......lol

It really makes no difference to me who wins. My team got a case of "The ****" early in the season and was eliminated about 1/2 way through.

Just gimme some good games to watch......No 3 yards and a cloud of dust, or blow outs.

I would be overjoyed to see the Steelers win, but I'm a realist, and the Pats are better now than they were when they were winning all the Super Bowls.

At 5dimes.com you can get the Jets +10 -125 right now ! Have to look hard at that, as far as the Pats winning, I see no problem there.

I really don't sweat the Jets or the Steelers but the Ravens might give us a battle if they get that far. I'm hoping the Steelers beat them because we own them.

Pats pass defense is horrible. I would be more worried about teams throwing the football. Like I posted in another thread, their pass defense is the 3rd worst in the NFL. Only the Texans and the Redskins were worse (and that one was close BTW) Add in the fact that the Pats really don't have a pass rush and it could work completely the other way. The Pats just are not a good team against the pass.

whoe ever wins the turn-over battle..........Pats 35 Jets 17

Wouldn't it be great if they played the Woody Woodpecker theme everytime Woodhead got a first down or scored!

Prediction? Patriots run away with it....

Wishful thinking? Jets make a game of it with lots of lead changes and some excitement.
