We get a guy who hit below the mendoza line last year, a fan favorite who returns, and a guy we are told is a number 1 but doesn't match up well with the like of Greinke, Wainwright, Halladay, Lee, or even Carpenter.
We still don't have a lead off hitter. An unproven second baseman. Big Z is still crazy.

Unless they get off to a hot start I don't see this team competing for anything this year.

I see the line up as follows

Fukudome RF
Castro SS
Pena 1B
Ramirez 3B
Byrd CF
Soriano LF
Soto C
DeWitt 2B

Does that scare anyone? I don't think so.
