The Jazz might have won tonight over the Nets but despite that, they remain on the outside looking in sitting in 9th overall in the West behind Dallas due to overall wins and losses. Utah does hold a statistical tie breaker based on their home and road wins/losses but Dallas holds 8th in the west although they have less wins but also one less loss then the Jazz do.

The Jazz while they have played with great hustle and heart in each game, they are underachieving after a brilliant start to their season and unless they make some adjustments they find themselves in the fight for their season just to make the Playoffs come April.
