Not a bad decision at all. And unlike Carolina, Denver doesn't have a penny pinching owner who won't invest in his team. John Fox will do well for the Broncos.
Defense needs attention. Fox deserves another chance. Most likely a good fit.
I think Fox will do good there, and if he can get the kind of people he needs to succeed, he will.

I think that it was a good decision to get a coach with experience in Denver to help right the ship. Fox was dealt a pretty bad hand in Carolina, for the most part. I think that the Broncos are more apt to spend the dough and make the moves necessary to get back into contention.

I concur on the comments above...I think Fox was the right guy to go with for a number of reasons, most of which were mentioned above. He is a defensive minded coach, he knows how to build defenses that go after the QB, which will play well in the AFC West. He brings a resume that included bringing a team back from the edge on a limited budget. The budget and willingness of the Broncos to spend to win will be a refreshing change for Fox and I predict that the Broncos will be quick to recover under Fox.
Well, Fox certainly can't and won't do any worse than MacDillywad. Good luck, Broncos and fans!

QUOTE(#7):
I always liked Denver, but they have been steadily losing their offensive edge!
I'm more concerned with the defense.
NO, I don't think so, Fox is by no mean a good coach! 3 winning seasons at Carolina, out of how many seasons there ? COMON MAN !!

I think they should have signed someone to tutor Tebow. The defense will need to be rebuilt for sure, but they could have gone another route. Denver thinks it will work for them so let's see what happens.

2-14 in the NFC South.
That's like going 8-8 in the AFC West.

Agreed. Sometimes all a guy needs is a change of scenery.
...and quarterback

I think John Elway may start working with him. In Tebow's interview in Sports Illustrated, it sounds like they may be forming a bond.
QUOTE(#18):
The Bronco's need a franchise QB, I hope Tebow can fill the cleats/shoes!
You know I'm a Tebow fan...so I'm pretty biased, but I think the kid will be a breakout player in a year or two. I don't think he will every be an Elway or Mareno, but he'll be a solid starting quarterback.

I think Fox was a good choice, McDaniels was to young and seemed to have a Napoleon complex, a great Q.B. coach but not ready to be a head coach, players will not play for this type of coach and he set the Broncos back a few years IMO. Fox is a little older and wiser getting a healthy Dumervil back will help the defense and Miller is looking to be a solid compliment to the defense.

I agree GSH I think Fox will turn that team around. I was never sold on the Little hoodie, being a coach myself. I think the Broncs will get it turned around. I like Fox , like you said older and wiser and can get it together if given a chance, Denver has some decent players if they get it clicking they will be alright. In Carolina he just didnt have the tools to make them a competitive team IMO.

Yes I agree, Tebow will be a solid QB providing he gets the right coaching. Fox is a defensive minded coach and delegates a lot of authority to his offensive coaches. Tebow would benefit from playing under a coach similar to Mike Shanahan.
