Another week down and another week of spoilers in the ACC...and in my pics.

Last week I went 3 & 3, with incorrect picks going to Wake Forest & Virginia, NC State & Miami, and Maryland & North Carolina. The one that surprises me the most is Miami. This is a team that really looks to have it's stuff together one week (ie. versus Texas A&M or FSU)...but them folds the next week (ie. versus North Carolina or NC State). Randy Shannon has a ways to go to bring this team back to national prominence.

So far on the season, my record stands at 50 & 25...a whopping 67% (which in case you're grading me...would be an F).

Let's see about this week's games...

Virginia @ Miami = Miami. I really could've gone either way on this game, but with Virginia winning their last 4 games by 2 points or less...and with this being the final game for the Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl...I just expect an emotional game by the U.

Wake Forest @ Clemson = Clemson. Now would be the time to expect Tommy Bowden's team to collapse like past years, but Clemson has put up some big numbers the past 3 games...winning by an average margin of just over 35 points per game.

North Carolina @ NC State = NC State

Georgia Tech @ Duke = GT. I expect the Jackets to bounce back after an ugly loss at home last week. After all...who could ask for a better bounce back opponent than the Blue Devils?

FSU @ Virginia Tech = FSU. Florida State played like the team of the past last week in their upset of Boston College. If the Noles can continue with another turnover-free game and keep the penalties to a minimum, Blacksburg should be quieted by two back to back home losses.

Boston College @ Maryland = BC

Haha...you and your trusty Tar Heels. I'm wondering if we have a spy in our midst. Hmmm. Ha!

No I've just always liked Butch Davis, and as mad as I am about them stealing Marvin Austin from us, I think they will end up being a contender in the ACC in a few years

On top of Julius Peppers being my Uncle!

Haha! Julius is younger than I am. Sobering thought.

Drew Weatherford has his second straight big game for the Noles and suddenly is in consideration for the Heismen Trophy...Despite a bad wheel Antone Smith rushes for a buck plus...and Tony Carter is the hero of the day with two picks, one taken back for a TD !!! GO NOLES !!!!
