Fisher said Weatherford showed strong leadership in directing the inexperienced offense.

He hoped Florida State had gotten the jitters out of its system.

"It was the one of the most different halves of football I've ever been around," Fisher said. "Maybe it had to come. We'll get it out of the way, put it behind us and go on from there."

.....Strong leadership by not making one throw down the field, taking sack after sack, being too slow and too stupid to play in a middle school offense, much less a D-1 collegiate offense????

I'll still give Fisher a chance, but I have already lost respect for him after seeing the SAME EXACT offense we have seen for years under jeff bowden. That wasn't the offense I saw at LSU under Fisher, not even close. What in the hell is going on? Bench Weatherford and run your offense, not the same exact plays FSU has had for years. If I see them come out in the shotgun again and run that benign draw play I'm gonna lose it!

Ok i feel a little bit better. Its just his comments shocked me. I thought for sure he would say, "Although our offensive line didnt play well, I was dead wrong about starting Weatherford. I have never seen such a terrible D-1 QB. He will never see the field again, even if every QB on our roster is injured".....nope! this guys says saw a good leader! wow

What game was Fisher watching?! Weatherford couldn't lead a marching band out of a dead end alley.....i guess OCs do smoke crack up there in the booth. :-)
