NFL  > Pittsburgh Steelers  > The Jets are Scared

No smack talk, a somber tone in interviews....I think Rex and the Jets are pissing their pants!

I think that's called respect. Not fear. The game with New England was an emotional one for the Jets against a hated rival, similar to the Steelers and Ravens. I think both teams recognize that trash talking at this level will only give the other motivation which in a playoff game could be the only thing between victory or defeat. As much as I like Joe Porter, I'm glad he's not around for this game.

I think the Steelers will be fine. I think the Jets realize that the Steelers are a legit Super Bowl contender and are a lot more physical and mentally strong than the Patriots.

I hope the Steelers beat the Jets into the turf! What are the injuries as of last week to both of these teams? Is Ben going to be able to take his usual punishment?

I don't think Rex is afraid of anyone. He is just taking a different approach to gain a psychological advantage this week.

How is being quiet a psychological advantage?

Ben can take it the punishment. Playing with a broken nose? That's a tough mo fo.

To do something out of the ordinary....usually the Jets are talking and making noise.....now, they're not. It's a different approach. Whether it works or not, who knows?

Just my opinion.

The Jets are not scared of anybody Rock. They already went into Pittsburgh and beat you! The Jets walk what they talk. They respect the Steelers and if you are smart, you will respect the Jets as well.

It will be different game this time around.

Heath Miller and Troy Polamalu were out of the lineup the last time the Steelers played the Jets.
