Now really what's a Bear's Packer's game without a little as you say "Pot Stirring?" I believe in civil harrassment of a teams rival. No need for cursing etc. but a little harrasment is just down right fun I hope for both sides. Go BEARS!!! By the way aspirin always worked best for hangovers for me Jim. lol. Go BEARS!!!

So repeating a comment from Urlacher is whining? Soldier Field is a mess like the rest of Illinois. No money will do that.
Some fans just like to see needless injuries I guess.
Green Bay has made no excuses and the IR is mentioned by announcers, not the Packers.
Enjoy the game and GO PACK!
This says it all....

Thats why you win your division and play to get homefield advantage. If you didnt want to play the NFCCG at Soldier Field you should have won more games than the Bears.
Hey now Pack fan214 didn't you see my comments about the "soft" field so your players can't get hurt when they get knocked down. I didn't put it in this thread I admit, but with a soft field it will limit your injures when your players fall so you can't use that for an excuse when you lose!!! Now isn't that considerate? Go BEARS!!!

Illinois is "a mess"?...Your words. Have you ever been there? My wife's family reside up there, and I couldn't ask for better in laws. Besides, I believe there are Bears fans everywhere, not just in Illinois. You, being a Packer fan, evidently don't live in Wisconsin, but California. Why is that?

I agree with Packfan. I've been there......................a lot. It's a mess, over-taxed, run by criminals......and those are the good points. I'm sure your wife and her family are wonderful folks. But, Illinois is a sad excuse for a well-run state. Chicago is better because the criminals who run the city have more experience than the state-wide criminals.

should be 2 great-games this sunday ! = Which teamz will move on to ~Jerry's-Dallas-Palace~ ?!
My bet is Green Bay and Pittsburgh. It's a close call though on both games.

Yeah, you may be right there.....I wasn't thinking of Chicago and its history. And that Governor, too. Her family's about to scatter to the 4 corners of the Earth since her dad passed a couple of years ago. I've been there a few times visiting. I guess it's easy to say what I did when I don't live there, and only saw cornfields and such when I did visit........lol

Yeah, i think this is getting blown out of proportion, the Bears have said the same thing about their field, also, Jennings didn't use it as an excuse...but i do agree about the growing up thing, it's not that cold. I've played outdoor hockey games at -45, no complaints from us (and we were 13!). Everyone's cold, deal with it. That being said, cold won't affect either of these teams, they're both pretty used to it.
Seriously folks you get injured less on a muddy field than on any other surface. I mean the type of mud field that when you hit the ground you leave an imprint on it. Sometimes you can even see the texture or your clothes in the mud. Now that's soft and no one is going to get injured by that kind of a field. How many injuries have you seen in female mud wrestling??? lol I've never seen the "sport" but squishy mud is soft as a womans b%#@$ts. What it does do is slow people down and that's what I think the faster players don't like thus they critcise the field. That's when we slow people with big feet can catch the fast players with little feet and it's a fun game for the slow pokes like me!!! Go BEARS!!!

I heard the sound bites. They were commenting on the conditions of the field and weather;not making excuses.

Coming from someone who doesn't even live there....That's like me test driving a vehicle, but only being in the passenger seat and later saying, the handling sucks.
