All you Steeler faithfuls, take a look at my column that runs in the Daily Kent Stater, particularly the comments from the stubborn Browns fans. What's everyone think?... Less than 600 words, no biggie...

Did the FBS add 2 schools?

I know this is spam, but the answer is NO!! The Steelers could be playing Al-Qaeda, and I still wouldn't root for them.

Absolutely!

Browns fans should chant "AFC North! AFC North!" and taunt Packers fans about how their division lacks team speed.

Is it cool for Sox fans to cheer for the Yankees? How about NC fans cheering for Duke? No?

THEN WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU EXPECT BROWNS' FANS TO CHEER FOR THE F'IN STEELERS?!

Oh, I'm sorry-- I have strong feelings about this one. What I meant was...

... no.

How about Bengal fans? Eagle fans?

This ain't the SEC here, people. NFLers don't roll like that.

Neither do Ohioans, GR. Our loyalty is eternal.

The team that He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named? Nevermore. The Browns did, do, and ever will live in Cleveland.

I was pulling for a tie when the evil twins played each other two weeks ago...

So do you LBJ is more hated than ABM? As a redskin fan I have nothing to cheer for!

January 27, 2011  10:22 AM ET

NO, NO and H*LL NO!! A true Browns fan would NEVER root for pittspuke. That's like a Buckeye rooting for meeeechegan.

Nope. The-Man-Who-Would-Be-King is hated, but not as much as He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. This wound is more recent, so the pain is more quickly remembered-- it will eventually fade. The other cut, though older, was MUCH deeper (bordering on identity theft of the city), and that is pain that will never be forgotten.

Kind of a different thing though I would think. Seeing as how both school's are in the same state and they have no other teams to root for. A die-hard sports fan from the state of Alabama just doesn't have many teams to root for.
