NFL  > St. Louis Rams  > Howie Long's son

I didn't know Howie had a son named Chris that played for the Rams. Is he any good? If I was the Raiders I would get him and give him his dad's number just to put butts in the seats. They need something lol.

haha I was just joking, but seriously is Chris any good?

if ur not kidding...Chris Long is amazing and has been NFL Player of the week 3 times this last season 2010.
to put it like this. in 2009, the Rams won one game, in 2010 they were in division playoffs.
might be 2 more years before the rookies really come to life, but so far, Chris Long is the guy on the team that gets em all motivated to WIN, PRACTICE and MORE PRACTICE.
and u will not find a more humble guy then Chris Long.
I live in Ivy, Va a stone throw away from Howie and Diane Long and Chris comes home when he can to get some Mama Long cooking and to buddy up with brothers Kyle and Howie Jr.

Long and Laurinaitis should be anchors of the Rams defense for a long time to come. Laurinaitis was excellent right out of the gate, and Howie - I mean Chris came into his own last year after getting moved to the left side. Having Fred Robbins on the line to help out didn't hurt either.

The Rams future is bright indeed. Just need a little more depth on the O-line, some quality secondary help, and OLB, and obviously some receivers.

They should move back to Los Angeles. That new stadium they're threatening to build needs a tenant. And if the Rams (or anyone else, for that matter) take it, the Chargers can't. Yeah, I know. The Rams aren't going anywhere.

I would love it if they went back to L.A.

The owner of the Rams died not so many months ago, and her sons can not afford the taxes to keep the team...they are actively trying to sell the team...if a Los Angeles investor was to step up to the plate, he can take the team anywhere he wants to...

If they want a team, they need to be about it, and stop talking about it

Georgia Frontiere (not sure on the spelling of her surname) died in early 2008. The organization was sold to a guy named Khan about a year ago.

Thank you, I like humble players and I hope he has a great career.

I'm sure the Vikings will be in LA in two years.

After 2 years playing like a chicken with its head cut off, some were thinking he was a bust, yours included. Is Long finally maturing or is his contract almost up?

Obviously I don't know much about him since I just found out about him, but some players just take time to figure out how NFL play works. I think Tebow will be the same way.

Maturing, responded well to the move to the left side and had additional help on the line.

I think he'll be a solid OT for years to come. The kid has a great upside!
