not only Raji, but Cullen Jenkins has been playing really well as of late. not too mention Matthews, the Steelers O-Line is gonna have to be on top of their game...of course, the GB offense line will have to be as well to stop the Steelers rushers...really looking forward to it!
While it doesn't look good right now, it's still too early to count Pouncey out for the SB. If he's still in a cast next week this time then we got a big problem.
Ironman...please, for the love of God stop putting the title of your thread in all caps. You're cool but by doing that one thing, you put yourself in a class with the likes of that annoying twit "asifyouknow".
Thanks. :)
Too early to tell for sure, but it doesn't look good. The Big Legursky did a very good job in the AFC Championship game...minus the fumbled snaps of course, but more reps with Ben should eliminate that problem. Will it hurt to not have Pouncey? Absolutely. But you gotta play the hand you're dealt.
This is gonna make things a lot tougher, but I still have hope that the Steelers can win. This will make it a big challenge though.

Agreed, it does change their whole game plan, and Green Bay does like blitzing up the middle. I would think that 2 weeks should help familiarize the QB and C with one another the question is how good is the backup concerning blocking and recognizing defensives. The center after all is probably the second most valuable player on the offense.
QUOTE(#9):
I'm sure the Steeler OL won't miss a beat without Pouncey.
If the new center can mesh with Ben in these next two weeks then it will be fine. There can't be as many horrible hand offs like there were in the AFC Championship game.

A bit presumptuous no? Pouncey made the Pro Bowl as a rookie for a reason. I think legursky is a competent back-up, but he ain't no Pouncy.
im questioning this guys toughness....better yet, his heart. What a bum....how could he do this to the team?? its the super bowl!

Sause for the Goose,Blitzburgh is going after Rodgers from the git go..
Oh, there's no doubt about that. But Pouncey doesn't play defense as you know.
QUOTE(#18):
They're in better shape than Green Bay who lost 15 players to IR.
Um, yeah. Injuries during the season have absolutely NOTHING to do with who's playing in the Super Bowl there Sparky. Currently the Packers have 7 people on their injury report while the Steelers have 7 as well.

QUOTE(#20):
Very true,But the new center hopefuly gels with Ben before the Game,I'm sure there will be adjustments made in lieu of the loss of the starting center.
Oh, they will definitely make adjustments. It's just unfortunate they wont have Pouncey (the best Offensive Lineman) for the Super Bowl.
