NFL  > General NFL  > Bad Camera!

Why is the camera work in televised football so bad? Every network shows the game exactly the same way -- as if it were some TV drama, not sports. The ball's snapped, and the camera zooms in on the quarterback. How did the play develop? We don't know because we can't see the field. How did that lane open up? We don't know because we can't see the field. Is the player who caught the ball open because of something the other two receivers did? We don't know because WE CAN'T SEE THE FIELD!

If they want to focus on key players in the replay, fine, but show us the whole play -- the WHOLE play -- while it's developing.
