MMA  > General MMA  > Fedor out?
February 13, 2011, 12:11 AM
I was thinking as they stopped the fight that this was a good thing, as they could put fedor against the loser of Werdum & AO while the tourney was still under way, and now after his speech i don't know what to think.

Fedor is not your typical fighter. I don't tink he would say that and go back on his word.

what do you think?????

One shouldn't make long term decisions right after recieving a brutal beatdown.

But I never believe any boxer's or MMA fighter's "retirement" speeches until I've heard it at least three different times.

Yeah Fedor should def retire since he is getting old and take what he has build. He will go done as ONE of the best ever.

But Fedor is different. Culturally, spiritually, etc.

If he doesn't retire it's because M-1 "won't" let him.

QUOTE(#3):

I think we have to consider the possibility that Silva is a very special fighter also. I see him as the tourney favorite right now.

I believe Bigfoot can beat anyone in the tournament, I really do.

Both him and Kharitonov made quite a splash yesterday.

dude. sooo depressed. i want my money back for attending this event. I havent seen any post fight stuff yet. There were a TON of Russians there who were up in arms. it was **** scary...
M1 is def putting a hit out on that doctor. I want to see one good thing come out of this. eaither retire, OR be like ivan drago yelling at the russian president and tell M-1, "I FIGHT FOR ME", go train with a REAL camp and change his game, cut to 205, learn new tricks. and move on, but that will never happen.

and i also think that dana white owns a crystal ball.
