NCAAB  > General NCAAB  > Duke at Miami. Which Duke team shows up?
February 13, 2011, 03:57 PM
Following an emotional 2nd half comeback vs arch rivals UNC, does Duke have to worry about a let down game on the road?

This year there has been two Duke teams that show up. The one where Smith gets 20 and nobody else steps up. Or the Duke team where Smith gets 20 and Singler hits his shots while a 3rd or 4th option contributes offensively. Outside of the St Johns game, Duke has played outstanding defense and they have a knack for shutting down opposing guards.

Miami has a good dual od Scott and Grant in the backcourt and they have a skilled big man in Reggie Johnson. For the most part they have underachieved on the year according to the talent they have. Never the less, they are capable of giving Duke some fits. Over the last 8 games played between the two, 6 of them have been decided by 7 points or less, Duke winning 7 of those 8 games.

Duke will need to play smart and aggressive to win this one. Go Duke!
