I noticed not allot has been said in the main circles of NASCAR.
Basically from what I understand the truck Michael Waltrip raced and won with at Daytona had the welds on the spoiler ground down to allow the spoiler to bend more down more while racing as to give less wind resistance.
The weld had been ground down and built back up with paint to give the allusion of thickness and he would have gotten away clean if the weaken weld had not broken.
It was tried to be explained that it was caused in a wreck but after further inspection was due to the weld being ground down
Then again Michael did win because because he was not racing points in the truck series so not points were taken away and got credit for win.

Think it is bogus. If that is the only he can win he needs to stop racing.

This is the law of unintended consequences. NASCAR is trying to establish series champions for each racing venue so they aren't letting a cup driver get points in trucks. So now there is no incentive for a cup driver to not cheat in another division.

As far as Mikey is concerned I haven't had a lot of respect for him since the jet fuel incident. He does make funny commercials though.
