Riley would be perfect for the Heat for sure but he is not coming out of retirement.
He is working behind the scenes to help Spolstra though, that I have heard.
Personally, Spo needs to stop tinkering with lineups and stick to what builds the leads in the first place.
He also is doing a very very poor job of getting the team good looks late in the game and do not get me started about not using Wade to close games vs LeBron.
This team needs to experience failure before becoming the studs they can be and I think that is happening to them right now.
Maybe they fix things before the playoffs....maybe not...
But, if they do....look out.

The coach is not the blame, Lebron and Wade are. They are still fighting to determine there roles. Wade will never be what is defined as a shooting guard running around picks to find open looks and when Lebron has the ball everyone still stands around. Ever think that Lebron just won't pass the ball in late game situations?,, I watched Chalmers standing there wide open while Lebron used the same move against Noah that he used against Amare and failing both times. Its obvious to me now that Shaq was the leader on the Heat championship team because Wade has yet to step up as a leader.
Riley moving down to coach will not make a difference as this one is on the players.
And this is a suprise to whom? Riley is too old to coach an entire season so he hires a lackey who he knows he can fire later and come in like a knight in shining armor to save the day!!! Yup and Lebron and co have some real estate to sell cheap too! Just makes me wonder where the morals went in our dear country. If you have to ask what I'm talking about you don't have any either!!! Now does anyone wonder why Miami is currently the most hated NBA team and possibly of all time??? I just want to know where are all the Miami fans telling us Ohioans to get over it!!! Confidentially to all Heat fans the ENTIRE country can't be wrong can we?

I disagree Wade led his team to win the 06 Championship, and too the playoffs after that a few times. Not only that he was the league's leading scorer last year. They haven't meshed yet I can agree with that, but soon they will be a powerful force in the league.

They are not fighting to determine their roles...they are both scoring at will...problem is that Spo is not using Wade to close games and that is hurting the team.
Wade can not call his own number, Spo does that.
You have lost your mind if you think Wade is not a leader and did not step up!!!
He had 28, 23, 42, 36, 43 and 36 pts in that series and got the MVP. He led the team every game in scoring while Shaq was around 15-18ppg. Wade even led the team in Rebounds in 3 of those games too!!
Dont believe me...go look.... http://www.nba.com/finals2006/
Riley coming to the bench will get more out of the rotations that is NOT being used.
Riley is a master motivator and next to Phil Jackson, is the man when it is playoff time.
To doubt him shows your NBA IQ.

When was the last time a team brought in a washed up point guard who can't defend to right a sinking ship mid season, and it turned out to be the correct move???
Never!
Get back to playing Defense and they should be ok.
Otherwise, they better get someone with some sense who can coach defense first, or they will wish they did.

Bibby is not the problem...he actually provided 6pts off the bench last night.
Miami's problem is the bench completely.
They are getting blown out bench vs bench and if Wade, LeBron or Bosh have 1 bad game amongst the 3 of them, they lose or struggle.
Bosh is not being used right...he even said it.
Wade is not being used to close out games...he even said it.
Spolstra is at fault for rotations and game ending plays.
Riley is at fault for going after 3 max deals praying that would work.
It will net them 55-60 wins but a title, prob not.
Miami needs Haslem for something off the bench and bad.

Ok Miami's bench is weaker than their opponents. However this is the NBA and it has cap structures. Miami's management decided to spend their available money on the big three and now has to fill, not just their two starting positions out, but their backups positions, with cheap players that are willing to play for a minimum. People can say; "get better starters and backups.", but there is no money to do it!!! So in words of the great Paul Harvey, "Is the rest of the story, good bye." And goodbye to Miami who must make a money decision to improve their team. Or should we just call it greed?!?!?!!!!

Shaq obviously was the leader of that team

My NBA IQ?.. lol ok... Riley is not coming back he just squashed that today. When I said Shaq was the leader I do not mean in statistics. Please evacuate Dwades shorts and realize for some reason he is willing to ride shotgun to Lebron. Thank you for all those stats from Wade of old but until he steps up as The leader of the Heat they are doomed. I would define for you what a leader is but I am sure you can look it up on your own as it has taken all of my IQ to write these few coherent sentences and now I must sleep

Never said Riley was coming back...
Shaq was not the leader of that team...Wade was.
LeBron has had his number called to close games and that is what Wade has gone along with...do you want Wade to run over and snatch the ball from his hands and defy his coach???
Wade had his number called last night and he delivered.
When you are 1 of the 2 lead dogs on a team, you do not get the ball 100% of the time...when you are in need of a 3pt shot, you do not call Wade's number...how about Eddie House, or Miller??
