I put money on shogun a couple weeks ago at +165. But I only put $15 lol. I make small bets due to limited funds.

I think this may be the card when I finally put some cash down. SJ Pete-type cash, but still some cash none the less:)

I like Mirko over Schaub. I think Schaub will get sucked into thinking he can outstrike an aging Mirko. JDS did it, Gonzaga KO'd him and I out-struck him, right? WRONG! He has a too-forward boxing stance and Mirko will pick him apart with straight punches. Schaub's best bet here is to take Mirko down, but then he better watch for Mirko's Guillotine.

I like Shogun over Bones. Both have explosive clinch games, but I think that Bones will win the takedowns in the clinch and Shogun will do his knee and elbow damage from the clinch. On the ground, Shogun can sweep Jon, and he has a better offensive guard than Jones has ever faced.

I like Akiyama, but I don't have a whole lot of faith in him against Nate. Akiyama is a typical no-cut Japanese fighter who walks around at 187, while Nate is a monster. Akiyama may be able to put some punches together here and use some throws, but I think that Nate will take the decision.

I am with you Jim, how is Shogun the least favorite in this fight. Everybody and their mommas is rooting for Jon Jones. Don't get me wrong Jon is an up and coming great fighter but its not his time yet and I am not ready for the Shogun time to end just yet

I don???t really care too much for the faber fight either.

I like Jim Miller over Shalorus by Sub in any rounds

Nate will win by dec.

I agree that Cro cop doesn???t have anything left in his tank, Shaub wins by K???o.

Agree with everything, but how do you see Miller subbing Kamal? I don't think your crazy, but he would have to get Kamal down before he can submit hi. Tall tak.

It is crazy but every card I usually predict something that wouldn't happen like Brock sub Carwin. Its just a lucky guess to be honest.

Wineland at better than 3 to 1 looks to be a good bet.

I was thinking that. Small money bet could be a good play.

I could be wrong, but it seems the competition has passed up Faber. I don't see him evolving at the same pace as the other "smaller" fighters.

Plus, he seems to be getting injured on a way to regular rate.

But Cro Cop? I just think he has nothing left. Schaub is a very good athlete, with good boxing. I think he'll be the one picking Cro Cop apart. I don't even want to see Cro Cop fight anymore. Its just sad at this point. He had noting for Mir, he'll have nothing for Schaub. I wish we would see the old Cro Cop, but I won't be holding my breath.

Even if he has no spark left in his training, he still has the instincts of a great striker.

Schaub's boxing really isn't all that good. He has a snappy jab and a decent straight right. He has no kicking game whatsoever. Mirko will be able to land a good deal of body kicks and then eventually that slightly hooking left. Maybe he'll even seal the deal with a Left High Kick.

Pure athleticism and decent hands won't get you over on one of the greatest MMA strikers of all time. Mirko all the way.

If I was a betting man, which I am, I'd put my money on as followed

Shogun +160 Jones -200 Go with Shogun
Faber -450 Wineland +325 not worth the risk for a decent payout
Miller -200 Shalorous +160 Go with Miller
Akiyama +230 Marquardt -290 Go with Nate
Schaub -220 Croc Cop +180 Go with Schaub

I'm bettin' 100/1 that someone either gets knocked the **** out or someone taps out. Now that's really going out on a limb there, huh?
