If I were to start a thread like this, and say that the NFL should stop drafting black QB's so high, everyone would throw a fit, but it's ok to say that an NBA team shouldn't draft a white guy so high?
Yeah, but white people are the racists.

I just don't understand why NBA GMs would take a less than 50/50 gamble, when they could easily get higher odds than that. It's not about white players only playing certain positions, it's about GMs making the a lower percentage play when there are higher odds available.
10 drafts since 2000. There have been 100 top-10 picks. You choose less than 20% to try and make a point. Since you didn't list names and it's too late for me to be arsed to double check I'll assume your numbers are right. If you want to try and prove your point (that black players are a safer bet in the top 10) you might want to check the overall numbers of everyone drafted top-10 in the last ten years.
Also, you're obviously oversimplifying the entire drafting/scouting process to try and make a racial point, but I'm honestly not surprised at that.
I'd like to see a list of all of those draft picks. Any chance you could post those or put a link?
