AN OPEN LETTER TO ESPN AND THEIR BASKETBALL EXPERTS:
Hey my dear friends on ESPN -don't know any of them- why are some of you trying so hard to justify the loses by some of the top teams in this 2011 basketball tournament, specially every time VCU wins, most of you have egg on your face , most of your predictions ..WERE WRONG.... are you trying to save face by not giving the winning team enough credit.
I listen to a few of of your commentators basically say that Kansas just did not play well or hit any shots and that's why they lost...OH MY GOD ..really is that why? Isn't that the reason why most teams usually lose? just guessing here, I don't get Billions of bucks to write about this stuff like some of you do........
Look gentleman, every team in the tournament knows what the deal is and just in case you wonderful folks at ESPN don't, here is the deal.

You have one shot at a team..when you walk in the arena you know you are either going home if you lose or you stay if you win. a team should be ready to play ..period...there is only one reason for a team to lose dear ESPN experts ..THEY WERE NOT AS GOOD AS THE OTHER TEAM THAT PARTICULAR DAY...It can not be simpler than that.
So Please quit trying to justify the loses and just admit some of you were wrong and maybe should give your employer some of your paycheck back.

I haven't watched any of the ESPN coverage but I find it hard to believe that any of their "analysts" are truly "outraged". They might be mad or irritated but outraged? Most likely no.

It is what it is. The top seeds got beat in some really good basketball games. No reason to be mad. It's like EZ always says over in the NFL section, any given team can win any game on any given day. :)

These are comments boards -bloggs - if you will, this are not full blown articles.
In boards one assumes the person reading it are fans and are in tune to what's going on, so there is no need to be specific???.. These are not accusations , if you would of listen or watched ESPN during the tournament you would of understood what???s going on...

The point is that "after the fact" they are trying to justify the lost rather than just say VCU was the better team that...they don't wantotgive full credit VCU..
