While I agree with you, I am thinking that maybe it was a good thing.
We both know Wandi needed a break to heal his body (kind of like Nog is doing).
I am looking to see the old Wandi. not a domesticated one we've seen lately!
Wandi! Wandi! Wandi! I am looking to the techno music he comes out of.
I am going to go with the axe murderer as well in this one...

Haha, Sandstorm.
Sandstorm might be the best workout song of all time in my opinion.
hope Wandy comes out and destroys but he's getting up there in age, hard to tell which way this will go. As for best entrance music I've always thought "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns n Roses would be awesome, particularly if the fighter is in their home city/state/province. Picture this at the Rogers Center this weekend, 55 000 booing Sheilds heavily when he enters. Then GSP comes out to WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE and the fans go nuts...particularly the part like 2 mins into the song when Axl Rose howls "YOUR GONNNNA DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE" ...... fans go nuts, shields craps his pants.....epic haha
It gets overplayed too much now, but I think that if you are trying to send a message, Enter Sandman is hard to beat.
It sends a little bit of a message that most walkout songs don't. But it is a victim of its own awesomeness, and thus gets used by everybody.
Closers in baseball make good use of the walkout music too. When Rivera comes out to Enter Sandman, in a close game with the Yankee's offense behind him, you just know it is over. You know what he is going to do, but you just can't stop it.
Same thing with Hoffman and AC/DC's Hell's Bells.

If I was gonna come out to a metallica song I always thought Seek and Destroy would be a great one
I haven't looked at the other announced match-ups on the card yet, but if they try to sell this as a Main Event I'm gonna be PISSED OFF!
I'm gonna look now

I think its the Penn and Fitch rematch. I read that Penn is no longer fighting in that card. The card is looking weak and they should consider showing it on spike because I dont see them getting a lot of buys.

Neither Penn or Fitch will be fighting
Cruz and Faber are the main event. Should be interesting to see how well a main event of two 135'ers sells, Wandi and Leben will definitely boost the numbers though.
Tito and Bader is a decent fight, battle of similars, both decent wrestlers with decent boxing.
Sotoropoulos vs Dunham, good battle of highly touted prospects who recently lost to guys than they should have beaten.
Siver vs Wiman, a terrible matchup and a lose-lose for Siver.
Condit vs Stun Gun, great WW match up, the most relevant fight on the card so far.

Its a "decent" card but not worth my ppv money, imo

I think Tito should retire after this fight if he was to lose. Cruz and Faber fight seems to be a boring fight in the makings. But the Wandi and Leben fight should be an exciting fight. I think Wandi will beat Leben in the 3rd round KO

I agree, save my money for a bigger card like the Rio event coming up.
