Well, the total two contracts (FOX was 90m? and there is one with ABC) is about 130m....for 10 schools, if they divvy it up equally, is about 13m per school....guess it's better than it was...

I think getting back to 12 is crucial, and not just for the name. With OU, TX and a few others it's still a quality conference, but as the only major (counting the BE as a minor) without a CCG it will be tough to keep up.

The other vital unknown is how long will the other majors be satisfied to hold at 12? If they decide that 14 or 16 is a better number, the Big XII will feel like shark bait, especially if the others decide to expand before the Big XII does.

I don't see the Big XII(10) being viable in a few years.
