Schedule came out today. Don;t know how many people still come on here but if the lockout gets resolved and they don;t get hit with the injury bug this is how I see them going. Also draft could change this a lot.

Week 1: New Orleans - Win. Offenses are close but Packers have a superior defense.

Week 2: at Carolina - Win. They are terrible.

Week 3: at Chicago - Win. Bears will have just faced New Orleans and Falcons so they will be tired.

Week 4: Denver-Win. Another should be easy win

Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 9, at Atlanta - Lose. Atlanta is tough at home and won;t be as easy as they were in the playoffs

Week 6: St. Louis - Win. Will be a tough one but it's at Lambeau.

Week 7: at Minnesota - Win. Unless Minnesota finds a QB they won;t do much this year.

Week 8: BYE. So predicted 6-1 at the bye.

Week 9: at San Diego. Win. Chargers are good but Packers are coming off a bye and Chargers just faced Jets and Chiefs.

Week 10: Minnesota. W. Look at what I said before.

Week 11: Tampa Bay. Win. This goes to the home team in my mind and tht is the Pack.

Week 12: at Detroit. Lose Detriot is going to be good but looking at their schedule they won;t make the playoffs.

Week 13: at NY Giants. Lose. At the Meadowlands the Giants won;t be as easy as they were last year since they most likely wouldn;t have had their spirits broken from 48 points in 7 minutes.

Week 14: Oakland. Win. Oakland just fired the best coach they had in years.

Week 15: at Kansas City. Win. Chiefs were exploited in the playoffs last year.

Week 16: Chicago. Win. Rodgers 5-2 against the Bears.

Week 17: Detroit. Win at Lambeau.

So 13-3. Saints, Bears and Chargers games could go either way. So they could go 10-6 but I see that as a worse cause senario.

Most of the trap games last year(like Detriot, Washington, and Miami) were because of injuries to Finley, Rodgers, and Matthews.

I never said I garuantee they win this game(Except for Brncos and Panthers). This is just my prediction. Garanteeing is what BGD does when talking about Bears beating the Packers.

Agian this is just my prediction. Any game could go anyway. Agian the draft coulld change things. Same with injuries.

I know. I have them spliting the series. I thought Chicago-Packers would split the series but they have two tough games before the Packers then the next time they play at Lambeau. But agian I am not garunteeing they win both games or expecting they do. I just feel like they will.

A look at their schedule leads me think that the Packers are 12-4 team next year. A lot can change, and it almost certainly will. It all depends how the draft goes, how injured players come back (more specifically Grant and Finely), and yes how the Packers handle being the defending champs. With all that being said, I still think that the Packers are the class of the North and should win the division by three games or so.

I wouldn't call that defense 'great'. They have a very good to great D-line but weak LB's and a horrific secondary.

Look at the date that this thread was started...at that date, they were over rated...

Jim, I don't think Duke and I will ever get along. I've tried to extend an olive branch to him on more than one occasion. We have a mutual dislike for each other.
