It's only lifted until appeal paperwork gets processed. This isn't close to over, but at least it will make the potential draft trades and free agent movement exciting over the next week or so.

Probably not till some time in June. It seems like DeMaurice Smith would rather have a sympathetic judge Nelson who is nothing more than a prodigy of union favorite- judge Dody. Smith had no intentions of negotiating from the get go.

A rubber stamp judge is the player's best bet.

She passed it on to a higher court, she knew that her decision meant nothing because neither side would respect her decision and both sides had made plans to appeal the moment a decision was made. Sometimes called passing the buck or bureaucracy. The next court level will determine the outcome.

Tony Bruno of KNBR radio said it would happen today 4/29/11, personally I thought it would take a week.
