Greetings CenLa. My knee-jerk response would have been that all NFL teams have the same number of players.
And you would have been correct. Good catch!
I went to a southern public school, sorry.
I see UF had the most drafted last year, 9.
Sure sux for this year, doesn't it...

Not for UGA and USCe.....
But seriously, UF has had 3-4 top 5 recruiting classes in a row, they should be just fine on talent alone, if the new staff can mesh it together at all.
Notre Dame has and always will have produced the most NFL draft picks in the history of the game.
Further more, year after year the ND grad rate in one the highest in the land.

As expected the big dogs are at the top. This may be suprising to some but the numbers don't lie.

Greetings CenLA,
I see that LSU has the most active players in the NFL. However, I don't think that is a fair comparison.
After four years playing for Les, LSU players all tend to run on the field for last second field goals, which artificially increases their count. :)

Graduation rates? Who gives a damn about graduation rates? You can always go back to college. You only have a limited time to play in the NFL.
These players don't play college football to graduate, they play to get into the league despite what they say for the cameras.
BTW, ND was a very significant team in the past but hasn't been lately. LSU wasn't a significant team in the past but are now. It's the age old controversy of "what have you done for me lately" as compared to "we were the best, once upon a time". Six of one, half a dozen of the other. If you look closely at the second post you will see that this thread covers 2000-2010. Heck, Harvard and Yale "used to be" dominant teams.
I guess we need to throw in Michigan having the most wins despite how bad they have sucked the last few years?

Ha! You know that's right!

Ask any of the players on 121 teams if they would rather graduate or play in the NFL.
I would imagine the response would be one sided.

Yeah that sure worked out for the once great Jamarcus Russell. I hear his mansion on the hill is in foreclosure, the NFL is a crap shoot.

Yes, these #'s can make for pride in a fan, but... they can also kill ya. In the 2009 draft USC had their entire defense, specially LB's (B Cushing, C Mathews, Rey Maualuga, Kaluka Maiava), 3 in the 1st or high 2nd. 8 gone from Defense. Not to mention that Sanchez went 5th overall forcing MB to start as a true freshman.
Point is, is it any wonder the 2009 Trojans had their worst season under Pete Carroll not counting 2001)? Their D was decimated, still trying to recover.

LOLOLOL!!
I see what ya did there, "pissing away $ on purple drank" -- eggzelent.
I looked at the list and wonder how many more Georgia could have had IF they were not in jail.
I believe of all-time USC has the most, correct? Than Notre Dame? Not exactly sure though.
Can't believe that Miami has the most first rounders since 2000. But they did have quite a class after they lost in the NCG to tOSU.
