PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Rashard Mendenhall has created a stir with comments made on his official Twitter page regarding Osama bin Laden's death.

The Pittsburgh Steelers running back on Monday tweeted: "What kind of person celebrates death? It's amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We've only heard one side..."

Mendenhall didn't hold back, even making a reference to the Sept. 11 attacks.

"We'll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style."

At any rate, I think I understand where he was coming from on the celebratory reaction, but on the conspiracy theory part? That's a bit much.

he just saying that it is wrong to celebrate a man's death, no matter what he did. he says that it isn't our place to judge another human being. i don't agree with him, but i like how he has the balls to speak his mind.

Lovit,as You know,the 1st tower struck was up high on impact,the second one hit alot lower,so when the steel melted,there was alot more wieght than the tower struck 1st,that's why it collasped before the 1st one hit,and Yep,It was kinda amazing they collapsed like they did basicaly strieght down.

As much as i disagree with him, there are extremely smart scholars that have stated the exact same thing. (more than likely where he got his info)
