MLB  > New York Mets  > Trading Jose Reyes

This makes the most sense of anything I've read or heard. It's unfortunate, but there is just no way we'll be able to keep him.

I think a mega deal with Boston would help both teams. Reyes, Pelfrey and K-Rod for Buckholtz, Pappelbon and Lowery. I feel that Pelfrey can't handle being the #1 guy, K-Rod would be better served elsewhere (money and attitude), Boston would be infinitely better with Reyes at the top of the order, Pappelbon would probably benefit from the change of scenery, and Buckholtz would improve by coming to the NL, so that he might resemble a #1 guy. Lowery is because the Mets could then use a shortstop, who wouldn't cost them a king's randsom (which they don't have).
