everyone in ny is throwing all kinda names today with the mangina firing. here's a crazy idea that'll never happen, but it'll at least make you think.

mike martz as jets head coach.

the jets' recent history has seen some conservative, defensive minded coaches. what if martz were to come in, blow up the playbook, install his system with leon washington starring as marshall faulk, and coles/cotchery as bruce/holt. you could get a reputable d-coordinator (i hear romeo crennel is looking for a job) so that you can still run a 3-4 patriot style scheme, and you won't be seeing too many draw plays on 3rd & 9 like you have with the jets for the last 6-7 years...

is it just crazy enough to work? you think old man woody has the stones to try it?

We had the right personnel - just get the coaching to be simple and play mouth smashing football, the old fashioned way! We have the winners - Mike is a good idea.
