It's nice to dream but Dana won't give us a super card with more than 2 real main events at best. But I'm gonna pretend The Guys from Pride were running the show for the UFC for a new years eve blow out card. 10 matches

1. Cain vs JDS
2. Jones vs Rampage
3. GSP vs Nick Diaz
4. Spider vs Shields
5. Brock vs Carwin Re-match
6. Forrest vs Shogun Re-match
7. Lil Nog vs Wandy @ 205
8. Edgar vs Maynard
9. BJ Penn vs Koscheck
10. Ortiz vs Shamrock (this one is for Peach)

You gonna have Roy nelson vs Kongo as your main event on the next PPV?

While id love to see overeem/cain the problem with that one is it messes up the whole strikeforce grand prix, which I am interested in seeing how it plays out. My matches would be:
HW: Cain/JDS
LHW: Bones/Silva
MW: Bisprick/Sonnen (although his appeal just got denied so who knows when he fights)
WW: Diaz/GSP
LW: Melendez/Edgar and Maynard winner

I would like to think that there is more talent than that in both organizations.

You still have Werdum, Nelson, Brock, Carwin/JDS loser, Bigfoot in the HW.

You have Rashad, Rampage, Shogun, Forrest, Phil Davis, Feijao, and Gegard in the LHW

You have Nate, Okami, Jacare, Maia, Vitor, and Bisping at MW

You have Shields, Fitch, Alves, Kos, and Daley at WW

You have Aoki, Maynard/Edgar loser, and Alvarez at LW

So all in all you could still have 2 or 3 more great cards after the huge event on New Years!!! Which allows the guys from the New Years card to heal up and be ready in Mar or Apr depending on how banged up they are. So it wouldn't be that far of a stretch to pull it off. Yes I know it will never happen because they would lose money having so many stars on one card, but it would be awesome to see!!

it doesn't really mess up that tournament. If the fight were to happen on New Years.

But wouldn't it be better to wait until the gp was over and have the winner of it (I think overeem) face the ufc champ (I still think cain) than have overeem fight in the ufc before they even have the 2nd round matches?

Or for that matter, does the grand prix even matter anymore now that zuffa owns strikeforce?

But my point is to make a super card. Doesn't really matter what is in store or in the works right now. It is more if you could put on one mega card who would you put on it and when...

With the exception of Nick Diaz I tried to keep strikeforce seperate

Sonnen is able to re-apply on June 30th, 2011. So a little over a month from now. If he's denied then, he will be suspended for an additional year. I think at this point, he's been punished enough, and I think they really want to make these two guys the next coaches on TUF. I'm hoping he gets licensed an they make that happen. Spike would only be 3 or 4 weeks behind in production for the season.

I dislike the guy but hope he wins the appeal. I hate bisping even less and would like to see that fight. The trash talking would be epic.

Thats what I want to see. I wouldn't miss an episode. The show clearly is not about the majority of the fighters now because most of them are terrible.

I think it might be the first season the coaches actually get in a fight on the show.
