NCAAB  > General NCAAB  > Around the Table

I noticed when browsing the NCAAF board that there is a very popular and successful thread called "Around the Table" where members talk about all sorts of topics, NCAAF related and not.

I've always noticed the NCAAB boards are essentially dead and devoid of life, so I figured that establishing such a thread over here would be beneficial. So that anyone who likes NCAAB could stop by and have somewhere to hang out or talk.

General discussions, opinions, questions and thoughts about college basketball. Or not. Whatever floats your boat. But not spam. Spam isn't welcome here.

Enjoy yourselves.

I enjoy.

I'd also like to mention I run a College Basketball Fan Group. The group is unique in that every member who joins is rewarded with blogging rights. With this, they can post blogs directly in the group. If I notice a blog posted in the group, I will do my best to boost the views on it so that it is one of the top 2 blogs on the right of the screen. Here is a link:

Has anyone heard about the Carrier Classic that will happen on Veterans Day this year?

It's a game being played aboard an aircraft carrier. Personally I think it's going to be awesome. First matchup is UNC vs MSU.

This is a very good idea, Ogre. Being the offseason, don't get discouraged if it takes awhile to catch on.

Thanks TNerb and trust me, I never get discouraged if it's relate to CBB.

Looking forward to having you stop by from time to time.

Go Bruins!

UCLA is in trouble this upcoming season. Lots of holes to fill.

Is the current series being played...."Heat" vs "Mavericks" (I think their names are)....considered CBB?

;)

Not as much as UF: All 3 assistant coachs and the starting frontcourt need to be replaced.

Heard from one of my nephews that TxTechU just got rid of all their players except for two (couple of Freshmen). Said that, evidently, the coach wanted to bring in his own players.

Anyone else hear anything about this?

Maverick is a much better movie than Heat

I like Ogre. Good luck with the CBB Marketing.

There are Madness Maniacs out there. Come, show us your passion.

I still think UF is 4th in the SEC in the upcoming season. I have Vandy at 1, Kentucky 2 and Alabama 3.

Florida lost their coaches and frontcourt, but they will have an amazing backcourt with Walker and Boyton, even better if Rosario lives up to his billing. They've got some good recruits and some young talent too.

They won't be as competitive as last year, but they'll make the tournament and be a top 25 team.

I had not heard about that at all. Doesn't sound accurate to me though.

But I do think Gillispie could end up being a good hire for Texas Tech. He's done well coaching in the state of Texas.

Thanks. I know there have to be other passionate fans out there for this sport. Maybe not know in the offseason, but eventually. I just hope they join us here.

Thanks and I hope this is half as successful as the CFB Around the Table has been.

Any time you want to know something CBB related, have a question or anything really, feel free to stop by.

Well, they have 7 new signees, and are losing 7 sr's out of a roster of 15....would appear to be a house cleaning if you didn't know the program.

My nephew went to TTU and is very up on the goings on so I would be a bit surprised, but it did sound rather drastic at the time...
