Ok, our team has mis-played itself into the #2 pick. I feel we need to improve O-line above all else. Any thoughts? Ideas on prospects?

i think this year we need multiple first round picks... start with a dominating OT then maybe a MLB and if chase coffman TE out of missouri slips maybe grab him at the start of the 2nd...i think coffman could help this team a lot...best hands in the draft and can help block caus mcmichael is done

i think we need to start off and get a HUGE tackle and switch pace to right tackle....then try to trade up to get a BAD **** MLB....and i would love to have chase coffman as a TE...best hands in the draft PERIOD and would be a great addition to the recieving core and the OL

Definitely agree with you. Currently racking my brain to remember the last high quality TE we had. hmmm

I think you all need to look at how many OTs are available in draft this year....most quality of all the positions. Don't waste a number 2 pick on OT this year. Trade down or get an impact player and improve you line in other rounds. Its always nice if you could get 2 later first rounders for a high pick, but rare that one can do that. If OT is a definite with your first pick, I would even consider trading down some for someone number 1 this year and number 1 next year.

i agree with you maybe trade down and take a MLB or SOMETHING productive instead of drafting headcases and people who dont make an impact

we need to get rey maualuga in the middle of our d.

I think that a dominant middle linbacker and safety are a good start. Plenty of good OT will be there in the first 3 rounds so concentrate on defence.

I have been a Rams fan since 1969 and am very excited to see the positive direction the team is heading. We need a quality coach such as Rex Ryan and a complete overhaul of this team. Both on offence and defence. I would also like to see us switch to the 34 defence. It may take a while but it can't get any worse.

I've also been a Rams fan since 1969 (11-3 regular season and a first round playoff loss to the Vikings 23-20). We don't have enough draft picks to fix things now. It's gonna take $$$ too. First we need an experienced head coach like Shanahan, Fassel or Billick (all Super Bowl coaches), not some Linehan type untested coordinator. Next we need to jettison about half the current team. On offense; Pace, Barron, Incognito, Klopfenstein, Bennett, Dante Hall, Looker, Pittman, Leonard and Trent Greene gotta go. We're stuck with a shell-shocked Bulger due to his ridiculous contract. Tory Holt has lost a step and a half, but can still play. At least we have Jackson, Darby, Bell, Avery and Burton to work with. For the kicking game, we've got about the best two guys in the league. On defense; Leonard Little, James Hall, Glover, Chavous, Tye Hill are done. Witherspoon has lost a step, but might still be adequate on the outside. Carriker and Long both need to improve and live up to their 1st round selection status. The minimum from the 2009 draft must be a gorilla O-Lineman, a huge Center and a big run stuffing nose tackle. Use the rest of the picks for line-backers and more OL help. Spend big $$$ on a monster MLB, a FB, some secondary help and Bulger's eventual replacement (a Matt Cassel type). However, my guess is that the Rams are too cheap and want out of STL anyway. I expect to see them back in LA in a few years.

When I ponder all the excellent players the Rams have let go over the years; Kurt Warner, Ricky Proehl, Az Hakim, Madison Hedgecock, Kevin Curtis, Isaac Bruce, London Fletcher, Dre Bly, Brandon Chillar, it makes me gut sick. Hey anybody remember "Mike Jones", the guy who made the game saving tackle in the 2000 Super Bowl, and was promptly released? We sure have busted on draft picks too.
