I wouldn't say washed up. He did win his last fight. He might no have looked great but the name of the game is winning and he won. I can't really say someone is washed up when they are still winning.

Agreed. Chuck was washed up. Roy jones is washed up. Mir lost to carwin and lesnar. No shame in that. He's clearly at the bottom of the top 10 heavyweights but washed up he is not.

and lets not forget why he lost to those two guys. He lost to Lesnar because of Lesnars size and wrestling. He lost to Carwin because Carwin hits like a MAC truck!!

I think jim and Scott basically said everything I would already lol.

I haven't done anything mma related in a while. When trying to keep it focused on the bay area I have to wait a few months before I have enough for a decent right up. I've done some nfl stuff since then like I critiqued the Niner and raider schedules when those came out and reviewed their draft picks a few weeks back. I was thinking of writing something about busted poseys injury when I got home telling people to get over it and move on because im tired of hearing about it. Lol

Also I might be missing something but his last 3 fights were kongo then carwin then nelson? He looked pretty good against kongo. Dropped kongo on his ass then choked him out in about 90 seconds. That was pretty impressive.

I think Mir looked a lot better at 240 lbs than 260.
The extra 20 pounds (which clearly isn't just muscle) are just slowing him down - and it's not like the extra weight allows him to come close to matching Brock or Carwin in power anyway.
