I posted this on the Truh & Rumors section and thought I'd add it here as well..
Cry me a freakin' river!!! If Earnhardt Jr. and his fans aren't crying over Gordon breaking his old man's record he's crying over not being able to win a race in the COT. Tell me, when was the last time he won a race in the Car of Today?? I do know it's been awhile. Everyone, including the Hendricks Teams have admitted having trouble with the handling of these NEW race cars (NEW, meaning that there are no notes to refer back to previous races and nothing to compare these NEW cars too) so, everyone supposedly started out on a level playing field. I'm not a Jr. basher and I admittedly like him because he is down to Earth, especially on the scanner.. But, if you listen to Eury Jr. and Jr.'s bantor back and forth.. They are good Ol Boys that know their racing but with these NEW cars it takes a little brain power, team work and understanding of the technology... Something that the Hendricks' do possess.
As soon as Jr. wins in a COT he'll say.. "Aw hell boys.. It ain't that bad afterall!!"
