I'm totally suprised that I haven't read anything in the "Truth and Rumors" portion of this site and I don't know whether I'm in the majority or the minority on this issue but I felt the Allstar Race was a total bust!!! And, it's all due to the harder compound that Goodyear has used in the tires they are supplying. I know some people will say that certain drivers are whining but it's not just a few drivers.. It's EVERY DRIVER!!! Why doesn't NASCAR listen to the drivers and use their feedback??? I don't think NASCAR should ignore the negative feedback the drivers are giving the Goodyear tire. NASCAR should listen MORE to the driver's view on major issues, such as this.

Goodyear provides a harder compound tire for safety issues... for fear that a softer compound won't last as long. Well, NASCAR and Goodyear, from what I witnessed last night it seems that the HOCKEY PUCKS (Stewart and Gordon's words) they were driving on caused more accidents than not. If safety is a concern then listen to the guys who you are trying to provide the safer conditions for and protect.. THE DRIVERS!! NASCAR needs to have a meeting with drivers and crew chiefs, compile information and make a decision that will allow for safer and more exciting racing conditions.
