He was in this case. Marquardts job is to show up make weight and fight. He failed nad didt do his job. You don't do your job you get fired. That's the way it works.

What about Sonnen how many drug tests has he failed?

In my opinion failing a drug test is worse than missing weight. Why is it Dana allows certain fighters to fight when they miss weight, but yest cuts others???

There is nothing professional about it. He is trying to save face because his main events have went to crap the last 3 out 4!!!!

Alves has missed weight a few times but still was able to fight. He never failed a drug test that I am aware of. Sonnen did fail a drug test and was not cut but same with marquardt. So like I said before, this isn't the 1st time a fighter has missed a weigh in. Yet this is the 1st time Dana has cut anyone for it. If the UFC hadn't purchased SF, Nate wouldn't have been cut!

I just threw those two names out there because they were the first to pop up in my head. There has been many others that have missed their weigh in.

Dana is just a d0uche. and if there was another organization out there not owned by the UFC Nate would still be employed.

Aslo dana doesn't decide who fights when missing weight. The opposing fighter does. And in nates case dana had nothing to do with it. The commission did not clear him to fight. Has nothing to do with dana.

So the real question is why Dana chose to cut him of all people?
