NFL  > General NFL  > WHICH TEAM WILL STRIVE TO BE THE WORST OF 2011 ?

We have quite a few teams that need a QB now, and some that have good QB's that are on there way out. New England did the right thing in getting Mallet. Are teams willing to throw the season in order to grab Andrew Luck? I guess it also depends on how well he does without Jim Harbaugh as the coach of Stanford.

New England already has a good QB in Tom Brady. I don't consider him on his way out and Mallet won't be happy for very long sitting on the bench.

mallet ain't got no room to complain.......he's lucky to be on a professional-team, whether it be the pats or the lions !....+......4 yrs. didn't hurt the pats prior backup [now] running k.c. !

If you are expecting Brady or Peyton to be around in 4 or 5 more years don't hold your breath. Mallet is a much better QB than Cassel ( who never started a game in college and was a backup for Palmer and Leinart ), Mallet problem was attitude not physical ability.

I think Tony Romo could play as long as George Blanda. I think he might even start kicking FG's when he's older than 40, too. Maybe even punt like Danny White.

Hahahahaha........

Broncos ... they really want Andrew Luck.

i could see brady and manning both playing [great] into their early 40's.

Manning seems a lot moe durable than Brady and could play until 40. Brady is just one tackle away from ending his career.

No. DeBerg played for the 49'ers, Buccaneers, and I think KC , but not in any particular order. that's just off the top of my head.

From Wikipedia........."....play for the San Francisco 49ers (1978???1980), Denver Broncos (1981???1983), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1984???1987, 1992, 1993), Kansas City Chiefs (1988???1991), Miami Dolphins (1993), and Atlanta Falcons (1998). He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 10th round of the 1977 NFL Draft."
