Before Jeter broke the 3,000 hit mark he was injured for a short while. His replacement, Nunez, played Jeter's position well and was even a valuable hitter while in the lineup.
Now A-Rod is out with an injury. His replacement, Nunez again. It's good to have someone of his caliber available when needed. When losing good hitter's to injury its great to have someone come and play the injured players position and hit at the same time.
If thats not a secret weapon then I don't know what the criteria is for one.

You mean, like, hitting and fielding literally at the same time? I definitely think it would qualify as a secret weapon though. No way the Sox see that comin'!

I like how this post implies that nobody knows this Nunez guy exists. He's that top secret. The Red Sox, the government, nobody even thought of this Nunez guy and then the Yankees just busted him out one day with his horrible defense and were like "HERE COMES NUMBER 28".

I wonder how high the bodycount is along the seats behind the Yankee dugout every time Nunez completes a miracle and fields a ball and then gets too cocky when he's gotta throw it.

He's not Nunez, he's Seal Team 28, and should not be spoken about in public.
