Okay, for the past 2 years all I kept hearing was Fedor is the greatest of all time. I have always debated against it. Seeing how his last 3 fights went down, do you still think he is the greatest of all time. You can put up a debate he is one of the greatest but he cant be the greatest of all time. What are your thoughts.

Silva

I personally think Anderson Silva at his best would have beaten Fedor at his best...

I have to agree with Loki. Anderson Silva is the greatest of all time. Although I will say that Fedor is the greatest heavyweight of all time

Anderson Silva at the same age and same record is still relevant in the sport and evolved along with MMA.

Also when Fedor gets choked out by an irrelevant fighter the way Anderson did, then you can come talk to me.

Who choked out Silva??

Looking back at the fights that Silva and Fedor have had. Yes Fedor has morefights and more wins but I think Silva has fought more top tear guys then Fedor.

btw it was Fedor that got choked out by an irrelevant fighter.....aka Werdum

Evolved? He's been the same fighter his whole career. He hasn't been in the same amount of fights and competitions as Fedor. Chronologically Anderson is older but he doesn't have the same amount of wear and tear as Fedor. Also when Fedor gets choked out by an irrelevant fighter the way Anderson did, then you can come talk to me.

We are talking now lol, Anderson Silva a well all rounded fighter, his style matches up with todays and yesterday fighters. Had Fedor signed with the UFC after pride he would have faded quicker. I dont want to hear excuses, wear and tear, if your in the sport you fight to compete not to get beat and come up with excuses. Silva fights in the top organization in the world, Fedor is struggling and he isnt in the best organization in the world. Fedor was tapped out by Werdum, talk about irrelevant. Werdum got smashed by JDS and wouldnt fight Overeen and played dead the whole time while Fedor is getting tapped out by him.

Fedor had a good run in Pride but after pride he has been nothing more then a scrub, fighting guys like Brett Rogers and Tim Sylvia while Silva is knocking out top contendors in two weight class.

Why didn't Reem go to the ground with him? You could just as easily say that he was the one avoiding the fight.

No, that would be ridiculous to say that.
If you are not skilled enough to take your opponent down, it's on you to fight stand up.

QUOTE(#13):

I think it's worth noting that 2 of Fedor's 3 recent losses have come in performances where he is seemingly discounting his opponents' skills and trying to rush to a KO victory. That fight the other night was exciting, but there wasn't anything overly technical about it (absent Hendo's escape). He was impatient and he got sloppy against a world class wrestler who can KO anyone with one shot. I'd say that a more patient Fedor wouldn't have lost against either Werdum or Hendo. I'm not sure anything could've saved him against Bigfoot.

I think what you said just shows the arrogance that Fedor has. No one is better then him at anything, so he can just push the pace and win. He has no respect for anyone because he been beating up bums for the last 5 years
