Madieu Williams- Released by Minnesota because of his underachieving.
Taylor Mays - It is time for Mays to sink or swim, many Safety greats have said he could be the next great thing . I have contended that if he can't play the secondary because of coverage skills they need to try him at LB, He has the size of a LB and the speed of RB.

QUOTE(#2):

Your team looks like a ship wreck and the season hasn't even started yet.

Aubrayo Franklin signs with New Orleans.

You know what the sad part is? Trent Baalke says he has a plan and the fans need to be patient. Yet he is unwilling to share the plan with anyone, Harbaugh hasn't even acknowledged that he knows what kind of plan Baalke has. What Baalke has effectively done is destroy any hopes for the fans that the 49ers could make the playoffs this year. I doubt Dashon Goldson will sign, the only thing that would keep him with SF is if no one in the NFL wants him. The 49ers on paper right now are one of the worst teams in the NFL.

This is all about Baalke trying to make a name for himself.

49ers sign CB Carlos Rodgers from Washington. They also hired a director of player personnel. Why? I don't think Baalke knows how to structure a contract and set up a salary cap. That is why he is lost in the free agent market, he has no clue.
