Nick-names for football players are fun, and it builds a reputation for that players actions on or off the field. But for the longest time, i forgot that the STEELERS H.O.F.er "Mean Joe" Greene was'nt his real name. Joe is'nt his first or middle name, very odd, his name is Charles Edward Greene.
And then you have to look back a Bengals player named - BOOBIE Clark. Now that's a name to defend.

The Oakland Raiders had one of the best players to ever play the game, with an equaly great nickname.

Ted Hendricks nickname was Kick'em

I REALLY miss those days.
