I look at all the states that are truly considered part of the West; Alaska. California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho. AFC West- Oakland, San Diego, Kansas City, Denver. NFC West- San Francisco, Seattle, Arizona, St. Louis. Two of these teams don't belong in the geographic West St. Louis and Kansas City. There is probably no hope for Alaska or Hawaii to ever have a professional team. Poor Nevada, because it is considered a sinful state that allows gambling it is not allowed to have a Professional teams ( fear of corruption?), Why doesn't this apply to states that have Casinos in them now? It seems like Portland and LA could and should have a Professional football team. So if 40 seems to many, lets at least think about having a team from back east move to either one of these cities and move KC and StL to other divisions. So which teams do you think need a change of city?

Agreed- when you think of QB position only. There are only a dozen or so that most people would claim they want as their starting QB. Not a good average when you consider there about 100 active QB's in the NFL.

Every game in Alaska would be an Icebowl. Plus they wouldn't be able to fill a stadium unless they filled the seats with sleddogs!

Plus imagine the problems they would have trying to figure out how to split TV revenues.
