NFL  > General NFL  > Two much talk about Deion Sanders?
August 6, 2011, 07:29 PM
All the hype about Sanders and what a great super athlete he was. Excuse me. There have been several players that have excelled in 2 sports. There have been several Olympic Medalists that have played in the NFL. They were the top 3 athletes in the world in their Olympic events and went on to win Championships in the NFL. Yes he belongs in the NFL hall of fame. But please Michael Irvin please don't refer to him as the greatest athlete to ever play the game.

Seriously narry?TWO?So ... apparently twice was too much for you?No wonder you only have one "friend" (a dupe) on here - you're how old and still years away from a GED?As the great Vernon Wormer once said: "Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

I didn't know Vernon Wormer ( if there is such a person) was such a hero of yours. You do refer to him as ; "The Great". Now let me guess you stole that sign from a AA meeting ( the one about drunk fat and stupid ) and now have it sitting right above your television, as a constant reminder, is it working? I guess that is up to your mother to tell you. By the way thanks for giving me credit for having one friend on here, who is it ? Like I said when I first came on here, I wasn't here to make friends. Just to talk football, and kid one another. Please tell me who your friends are? Are they real or just figments of your schizophrenia.

After listening to Sanders speech. I guessing that soon there will be a new congregation called the " Prime Time Evangelical Church. The Reverend Neon Deion Sanders presiding. Deion enters the massive auditorium stage high stepping across with white shoes and a multicolored robe of all the teams he has played for, plus more gold chains and crucifixes than in a Rap studio. As Deion moves closer to the mic the choir steps up with their version of " Are you ready for some Jesus" He addresses the children and says; On the back of your shoe is a message " You are not stupid, fat, and drunk ", Oh wait a second I'm confusing Reverend Sanders with Reverend Black Gold II. They both see themselves as the second coming of a famous figure, for Sanders it is Jesus, for Black Gold II it is "The Bald Bomber" Terry Bradshaw.

I enjoyed Chris Hanburger's speech.

I did too. I also like what Deion said; I have made a new friend when I met Chris Hanburger.

Or .. it could be a movie I took the quote from - a movie that anyone who has a life might be remotely aware of. I knew this would (of course) automatically exclude you.

Oh I forgot that having a life meant sitting in front of a TV screen watching old movies. Let me guess that all your cats that you watch these movies with are named after movie stars.
