Pretty big Cardinals fan (have the t-shirt from 1990 still), but not sure they can perform on the road-they have not all season. They can win, but the odds are 4 or 5 to one against it IMHO.
Cards play their best the more they are underdogs and least expected to do anything. The road thing is a huge obstacle, but stranger things have happened. Just think the last time Cards were in playoffs and traveled to the mighty Cowboys' stadium. Did anyone expect that outcome? Personally I expect (and hope) for a close game for 3 quarters. I feel the Cards might wear down after that. That week off for the Panthers will become evident before game is over. Oh well, season was a brief relief from their usual futility. I don't expect it to last long, since the 49ers will not be down for long. They know how to rebuild a winner and won't hesitate to spend what it takes to get back on top again.
Hey, real life cardinal fans,Sombody take a picture before they lose.maybe in another 50 years the cards can earn another home playoff game against another opponant that will choke.(falcons).oh buy the way its going to be about 40 degrees and rainy on saturday here in charlotte.GO PANTHERS!!!!
Hey a real life cardinal fan, sombody take a picture before they lose! maybe in another 50 years or so the cards can win another home game against a team (atlanta falcons)that chokes.oh buy the way, its going to be around 40 degrees and raining at kickoff.enjoy the game.
Yes, definitely. The Cards have a chance to win a playoff game on the road---as long as it's the Seahawks, Raiders, Rams, Texans, Cowboys or any other team that plays west of the Mississippi River!
It's supposed to be very rainy and cold tomorrow night here in Charlotte. Hard to throw and catch a wet cold ball and execute all those fancy pass routes on such a night. Guess you'll have to rely on your running game...Wait...the Cards don't have a "running game."
The Panthers are one of the best running teams in the league. They use it to set up passes to the best receiver in the league...
Mmmm....makes for a long dark night for the Cards and their fans.
Oh, and I didn't even mention how hungry the Panthers, their fans and their terminally ill
owner is for a victory did I?
