or is this doughty thing taking wayy to long. I mean he wants to play here? I think his agent wants to have him hit the market in his prime so drew gets paid more and so does he. I just want him to get signed asap. And i think he should take a page out of jmfj's book and not have an agent. Just a thought. What else do you guys think?

His agent, Don Meehan, has a track record of taking a long time to get a deal done so you may be waiting for quite a while. The worst part about sports today is waiting to see if your favorite team's players are going to sign or move on. The salary cap just adds another element to the mix. I don't doubt they'll get a deal done, but look for it to take time.
