Not sure if everyone has seen the latest news.... But yesterday the Tennessee Vols had their 16th player arrested since the 2005 season.

Yesterday's was for cocane possession and distribution...15 others over the last two years have had run ins with the police on everything from assault to under age drinking.

Rumor has it that the Board of Trustees will vote today to dump their traditional mascot (Smokie) and introduce a brand new mascot this season. A Tennessee Vol football player in "County Jail Over Alls" complete with prisoner number.

And by the way...Fulmer is now 7-17 over the last five years vs Spurrier, Richt, Tuberville and Meyer and only 42-21 overall.

Circle your calendars. By the end of 2009 two major events will occur in the SEC. 1) Saban will return Alabama to the elite of the SEC... 2) Phil Fulmer will be out of a job.
