NFL  > Tennessee Titans  > Being ruled out?

I watched the dolphins game and saw them dominate the Dolphins. The Titans are not the Dolphins. Period. Tennessee's defense may not be as relentless as the Ravens D, but their dominant D-line will stuff the run and make Flacco win the game. He was 9 for 23 against the Dolphins. He is a rookie. The Titans should win this game.

Thank you, It's nice to hear someone say that, so often the Titans get written off. Good luck to your team as well, hope to meet you in the Superbowl

The problem is that people dont know who the titans are. In vy's rookie year they went 8-8 after starting 0-4. They won because of that offensive line, and defense. They've improved since then with the addition of nick harper, mike griffin, javon kearse, finnegan, chris johnson, and kevin mawea. I dont even have a doubt that the titans win on saturday. I hope to see them face the chargers next round.

Let everyone think the Ravens are going to win. Most people that are predicting a Ravens victory have probably never seen the Titans play.....or they watched the Jets game.

LP Field will be rocking, beer will be flowing, and the Titans will be dominating!!!

Seems like the media are down on Collins being able to do anything against the Ravens D.

I never write the Titans off; seems they were the only team that gave the colts a run for their money.

its safe to say that VY's D bailed him out to an 8-8 record. His RoY and Pro Bowl years were terrible. something like 9 td's 15 ints his Pro Bowl year?
Yeah, its safe to say that with Kerry Collins, 13-3 is a major improvement over 8-8. Its also safe to say that Collins is an improvement over Young.
The Titans are in trouble on 2.5 fronts:
1) Secondary is giving up much
2) Bud Adams is not thinking much
and the .5) Running game is getting injured

Bud Adams is trying to force the square Young into the round hole of being an NFL QB. When Collins left the game vs Cle, Young pretty much single handedly lost the game with the pick 6, then a fumble on the 1.

What does this mean? It means that if Collins gets hurt, we're pretty much screwed: You cannot rely on VY to wins games for you. Losing against Cleavland of all teams? Brady Quinn did better than this guy. Heck, Matt Leinart had better stats in a single HALF than VY had in 4 games.

So, even though the O line is protecting Collins well, and the 1st team O repsonds very well with COllins, they need to keep things air tight so Collins doesnt go down.

The Titans Secondary: dont let another Balitmore mishap happen. As for the defending champ steelers: Big Ben and your 5 personal turnovers and collins dominating is something we need to see again for us.

Otherwise, it'll be VY at the helm, scoring his lone TD late in the game against 2nd and 3rd and 4th teamers.

Tighten up, guys. titans and Cards and saints FTW
