IMHO there is no way Kyle's father would/should push his son aside and take the offensive coordinator's position. Kyle prooved with the Chicago game that if Kubiak let's Kyle do his job the offense can work; furthermore when Kubiak isn't trying to do two jobs he is actually a fair to good head coach with potential to be a great coach. He just needs to learn to delegate and let his subordinates do their jobs so that he can concentrate on his. So in my opinion if Kyle is going to stay then Mike should look elsewhere. Now that is only my opinion and of course you know what they say about opions.
As for the defense, I am not going to address Crennell directly, but i will state what I believe the Texans need...... AN INTELLIGENT, STRONG OPINIONATED, STRONG CHARACTORED, VETERAN, (his personality needs to be similar to Bill Parcells'). He needs to have enough confidence to stand up to Kubiak and say my defense is going to have a bad attitude, it is going to have a mean streak with an attacking abusive, domineering personality. Not the type of MEN Kubiak could call Kids.....ON ANOTHER NOTE IF I HEAR KUBIAK REFER TO HIS PLAYERS AS KIDS ONE MORE TIME I AM GOING TO BLOW MY TOP. THEY ARE NOT KIDS! THEY ARE MEN PLAYING A MAN'S GAME! If you think they are kids just rememeber the MAN standing across from your KID is going to MANHANDLE YOUR KID. KUBIAK THEY ARE MEN EXPECT THEM TO STAND UP AS MEN AND A MAN DOESN'T LET ANYONE PUSH THEM AROUND.
Well we have Bush and he sounds like he agrees with the bad attitude, mean, nasty, attacking defensive approach i was looking for but he called his players KIDS not once or twice but over a dozen times in his interview. Maybe i don't know what i am talking about but damn
It sure raises the cackles on the back of my neck.

I hear sources say that the Texans will pick up Mike Shanahan and make him assistant head coach and offensive coordinator
lolol no way shanahan will be assistant to anyone when he can get a head job for twice the money, keep living in the houston bubble where you guys make up stuff to help you sleep better at night. you made me laugh really hard btw...

Yeah, Shannahan is going to give up 7 mill. to take an assistant job. Brilliant.
I think the Texans should hire htownsjyfly33 as their D.C. No offense would be able to "perform" seeing her on the sidelines.
