Typical Al Davis-type move. It'll either be boom or bust. What did it cost them?

That said, I'm guessing he'll be playing elsewhere in four years.

Haven't heard any contract info yet but Based on the rookie scale used to sign picks from April's draft, Pryor would be expected to get a four-year deal at $2.36 million, including a $591,000 signing bonus.

al just messed-up another life !.....poor kid willl never be the same !
He has to be better than JaMarcus Russell, he defiantly will come at a cheaper rate anyway so only way to go from Russell is up.

This whole deal is weird. The NFL suspended him before he got a job. I know his agent said they'd do a deal today, but I wouldn't trust Rosenhaus as far as a cat could spit a walnut. Dude would screw a snake if you held it straight for him.

That deal is not set in stone, just based from Aprils draft and slotting had he been eligible. I haven't heard about his exact contract specifications yet.

I'M better than JaMarcus Russell. Lees expensive, sure, but maybe not cheaper. It's a miss if you don't get a player with a third round pick, right? I think most teams expect to get a very good player for a very good price in the third. We'll see if Pryor can grow up. Doesn't seem like he's done much maturing yet.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying about Rosenhaus.

Yea I don't understand the Suspension thing carrying over to the NFL, and I agree with you on Rosenhaus or just about any agent, they remind me to much of a lawyer.

We will see how he develops which is most likely Al's intention but who knows.

Yup...many, or most, ARE lawyers. Hell, I'd probably want a shark representing me, too. I just wouldn't trust him.

Pryor reminds me of Vince Young.

I also read in Lieu of the shootings/fights that took place at candlestick that the Niners and Raiders will not be playing any more pre-season games together.

He can't be any worse than Russell was.

That was scary. There are many families with young children at those games.
