Bill Walton- Playing against SoCal jucos and fellow freshman teams he averaged 18.1 PPG and 16.1 RPG.

Pete Maravich (not in the poll)- He was so amazing that his first college game he scored 50 points and had 16 assists. People would pack the house to see the freshman games then usually left before the varsity's games began.

Lew Alcindor- He averaged 33.1 points and 21.5 rebounds for his 21-0 freshman team.

Oscar Robertson- As a freshman he scored 33 points a game. This is what he had to say about the varsity vs. freshman scrimmage his first year, "More than 6,000 fans turned out to watch the vartsity double-team me the whole game. Although I did manage to find enough openings for 37 points, 18 rebounds, and 8 assists, the varsity won 87-83."

Wilt Chamberlain- In his first scrimmage against the vartsity he scored 42, had 29 rebounds as the freshman beat the varsity by 10.
