You have a better argument there then I do and I don't feel very comfortable saying "Ben's this third best in the league" either, but I think he'll show he is after this season.

Don't forget about Matt Ryan, he has to be in the top 10 of NFL QB's.
He's in the top ten but he's not in the top five .. that's what we're talking about here. Ben's a whole lot better then Ryan, in my opinion.

I'll take Ben over Matt because he has won two Super bowls. I think eventually Ryan will surpass him.
THAT would mean that Ryan will win 3 Super Bowls or get to 4 and that's as of now cause Big Ben aint done yet. I just don't see Ryan surpasing that. He needs to win a playoff game or ten first before he enters the equation.

Did BigBen really win SB XL going an awful 9-21 or was it the Steeler D that won that SB over Seattle?
but it's only the preseason, who cares?"
Is that what you were gonna say? Cause I'm gonna call bull**** on that.
The big problem with assessing the play of preseason players, even the starters, is that coaches don't like to show all of their plays.
There's a bit of strategy involved. Why give your Week 1 opponent film to study and a game plan to prepare for if you don't have to? Well, most head coaches don't.
The coaches are testing out players, they're testing out situations, in some scenarios they're taking risks they wouldn't typically take during the regular season (such as ordering their kicker to kickoff short, in order to give their coverage team more experience), and they're holding back the best plays in their playbook.
Playcalling has a significant impact on the performance of the players. So you can only read so much into the preseason.
With that said, Aaron Rodgers has the best preseason statistics out of any quarterback.
126.3 Passer Rating
79.1 Completion %
8.7 Yards per attempt
3 Touchdowns
0 Interceptions
Most QBs have looked good in the peseason for the fact that defenses are playing as vanilla as you can get and they aren;t really playing their starting secondary players. Packers haven;t played Williams, Woodson, or Collins for more than one drive. MAtthew also hasn;t played more than a drive. IT's probably the easiest time of the year for QBs.

according to Steeler fans yes because he made a tackle in the AFCCG.

exactly :^)

Actually, they beat Denver in the AFCCG...
But Ben was the best player on the field in the 3 playoff games that got them to that Super Bowl.

Agreed. Once the regular season starts, these teams will employ different schemes and play all the top tier players the whole game.

The important question is, would the Steelers be there without Ben Roethlisberger?
The answer is no ... did he play great in the Superbowl? No, not exactly. But he made the plays and took the steps to get his team there.

Some say the ref's were taking payola and gave the game to the Steelers, I do not agree but that is the impression many Seahawk fans have of that game.

Ben's quarterback rating, touchdowns and yards per attempt are all better ...

Why not ask the same question after week 4 of the regular season. But then again who cares about any of this dribble?, this is such a pointless place, I'd be better off masturbating, I am out of here account discarded as of now!

It's hard to argue with statistics.

They would have easily been in the playoffs without him. They had more rushing yards than passing yards that year. THey were a run first, second, third team. THen pass.
