NFL  > Detroit Lions  > Are the Lions ready to Roar?

I know it's only the preseason but this Lions team has some swagger this year. I hope i's not a mirage like 2008 when they went undefeated in preseason and 0-16 in the regular season. have a feeling they're the real deal and the Packers and Bears better be concerned.

GNG/Brainfarts/Whiskey/I forgot his latest dupe account, should be happy, at one time one of those were a Lions fan.

The Lions first team handled New England's first team with surprising ease. It looks like a three way battle in the NFC North.

The Lions have looked impressive in the preseason but I'll reserve judgement until the regular season starts.

I've been a Lions fan all my life and never had a decent team to cheer for. I'm very optimistic because we finally have a promising young QB and a hard nosed defense. Maybe Lions fans can finally take the paper bags off their heads. LOL

I'm confident we'll give the Packers & Bears all they can handle.

I haven't seen Brady that frustrated in a long time. He was getting hit on every other play.

drip,....trust me, the pats were not playing their A-game last nite, not with all their A-players !,.......hats-off to detroit for playing a wonderful preseason-game !..........4-0 in preseason might get yu to 0-16 in reg. season [wink].

yeah, for a preseason game Brady was full on frustrated and on his backside every other play. Detroit did not play with most of their talent on the D-line and still handed Brady his lunch. This team is loaded on both sides of the ball. I will be looking for you naysayers to see if you have changed your tunes by mid season. I gotta feeling most of you will.

I was impressed with the Lions play. I wish them nothing but the best.
